Our Trip to Hawaii

Larke and Her Ducky

Larke is so cute with her little lovey blanket. Larke has never been a paci girl, but man don't ever get in the way of her and her blanket. My favorite is when she sucks on her bottom lip and loves on her ducky at the same time. When my mom made this blanket for Larke she also made 4 burp clothes to go with it. Lately Larke has resorted to carrying the blanket and all the burp clothes that she can find. If she sees it she wants it. I also resently fixed 2 huge tears in the blanket from Larke loving it a little too much.

Happy Birthday America!

I love the 4th of July. The patriotism, the fireworks, the parades, the food, all of it is pretty much awesome. At church we had a breakfast and make shift parade with the kids on bikes. They loved that. LeAnn (my sister) and Eric came up with there kids for fireworks here in Thornton. We lost Eden for 15 min.at the fireworks because she wondered off. Luckily one of the many police found her and kept her for us. They had parachuters at our fireworks show which was totally awesome.

Eden catching a bubble.

Swimming Frenzy

We have gone swimming several times this summer like everyone else. Gideon is getting more adventurous which is fun to see. Eden goes though phases of loving the pool and being deathly afraid. Larke loves the pool and is the one that fights me the most about leaving.

I gave in. Dang it!

So I guess I've decided to join the blogging phenomenon. My kids are getting bigger everyday and there are so many people that I love and care about that are missing the wonder of it all. My sister in law, M'Recia has been staying with us for the summer and taking awesome pictures for me with her awesome camera. She offered to teach me how to blog and how to get myself on facebook and so I am giving in. This may be the only post I ever do since I have M'Recia sitting here holding my hand, but I am a big girl so I should be able to do this by myself.
