I'm a Big Kid Now!

So my honey bunches of oats turned 30 a few weeks ago. He was very excited to get some Transformer cuff links from his Mom. He even got to wear them to Church on his birthday. He also got a set of magnets called ball of whacks from his Mom that the kids (especially Larke) just cannot get enough of. I was pretty excited that I found him a long sleeve waffle shirt that had a symbol on that looks like the crest of Albania. It would have been a better day for me had Gideon not been throwing up all day. Matt however got to go to church with just Eden and actually heard the talks and everything. He came home very edified. I should have wrapped up Gideon and put him in the pile of presents. I made him steak and shrimp for dinner, yum and we had birthday cookies. I think more than anything we are both relieved that he in now 30. Matt because he doesn't want to be considered "young" in the work place and me because he has to stop saying that I'm in my 30's and he's in his 20's. Thank goodness that is over. Only 8 and 3/4 years until he says that for our 30's and 40's. I can't wait.
