The Pumpkin Run

At Gideon's school they do a pumpkin run every year. Since he is only in 1st grade they run 1/2 a mile and at the end they get a free pumpkin for participating. I decided to try to run with him. Needless to say he whooped me and in fact I ended up walking almost the whole way. I ran for about 10 seconds right at the start and decided I'd better just walk. In my defense I did have Rush in a baby bjorn on the front of me. I think I could do a little bit better than running for 10 seconds. I'll have to try again next year. I was very proud of Gideon he did awesome.

All for One and One for All

This a sight I see often at my house since Larke's 3rd birthday. She got the 3 Musketeers Barbie movie and now she and Eden like to pretend that they are the 3 Musketeers girls. They cross their made up swords and shout "all for one and one for all". It is very cute. Thanks to Todd and Cheri for the 3 Musketeers outfit and Grandma Jones for the movie for making this moment in time possible.

It has been a long time...

So I haven't posted anything for a month and a half. Our computer has been done for a good portion of that time and we still don't have that all figured out. Matt is trying to take a nap right now so I'm going to use this time to snag the laptop and blog.
This one is for M'Recia. Thanks for the monkey towel. Rush loves it! The other kids love it too and are so jealous that it is for Rush.

So for Matt's birthday in January of 2008 I got Matt nothing but a friend for the weekend and matching Halo t-shirts for both Matt and Derek. They did nothing but play all weekend and he said it was the best birthday ever. So anyway Jen just recently came out to visit and we spent most to the weekend in our husbands Halo shirts as a joke. We played alittle Rock Band and other various games and got pedicures and did alot of talking. It was so much fun to see my friend. I miss her. It was so fun to be reminded of why we are such good friends. I realized that part of it is that being Jen's friend is effortless. She feels more like a sister to me. I was sad to see her go home again but it was nice to know that we don't have to let our friendship go just because we live half a country away from each other. Some friends are worth the effort and Jen is definitely one of those friends. Thanks for coming and for being my friend! Hope to see you in Boston soon.

Rush looking cute!

Rush has started laughing. It is so much fun to hear him giggle. Matt loves putting him in these Batman pajamas which are size 24 months, but he can't help himself. Don't you just want to kiss those fat cheeks. I love this boy.

3!

Larke brand new!
1 year old-so cute

2 years old- one of my most favorite pictures of Larke ever
Her new Hello Kitty slippers Blowing out the candles.
The cake

I can't believe Larke is 3. She still a very snuggly girl although she has discovered that playing with her sister Eden can be very fun. When she is good she is very sweet and kind. She does have a bit of a bullying problem and does not like sharing her toys. Who does right? I hope she grows out of the mean phase soon. She is too cute to be a bully. Larke is a ray of sunshine in my life and I'm grateful to have her in my life. She makes me smile, even when she is naughty, well most of the time. Happy Birthday big girl Larke-poo!

We went to Tiny Town last week with some ladies from Church. The kids had alot of fun. Gideon got to have his best friend Bryce with him too. It's such a fun place. I'm so glad that we went.
